The Vice President for Education is the Chair of the Education Committee. The Education Committee shall consist of the Chair and at least six members appointed by the Chair, two from each of the three Society technical areas. The Chairs of the Seasonal Schools and History committees shall also be members of the Committee.
The duties of the Education Committee shall actively promote the UFFC-S through educational programs, educational webinars, and tutorial or review-like papers for IEEE T-UFFC and UFFC-S symposia. The Committee shall organize three Seasonal Schools per year, one per Technical Area. Plans for all Committee activities involving or representing the UFFC-S, interfacing with external organizations, establishing educational programs, or expenditure of funds shall be presented to AdCom for approval prior to beginning execution of the plans. The Committee shall also maintain the Education sections of the UFFC-S website and keep the website up-to-date.
