The Deputy Vice-President of Publications supports the VP of Publications in establishing long-term publications policies, evaluating performance metrics, and making strategic recommendations to align with the society’s objectives. The VP of Publications collaborates with IEEE Publications, oversees publication-related services, and coordinates closely with the Publicity Chair. Key areas of responsibility include the society’s two journals, newsletter, website, and related digital content.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in publications management, preferably with experience in academic or professional society publications. They should demonstrate excellent strategic planning abilities, collaborative skills, and familiarity with digital publication trends. A commitment to fostering high-quality, impactful content is essential.
