The IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society (UFFC-JS) is seeking a dedicated leader to fill the role of Vice President for Community, Connection, & Diversity. In this pivotal position, you will lead the Community, Connection, & Diversity Committee (CCDC), coordinating with key committees to promote inclusion, diversity, and engagement across the Society.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chair the CCDC: Oversee and guide the efforts of the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, Women in Engineering, Industry Engagement, Volunteer Engagement, Young Professionals, Student Representatives, Membership & Data Analytics, and Chapters Committees.
- Promote Collaboration: Ensure initiatives across these committees are aligned and work towards common goals, fostering a connected and inclusive community.
- Drive Engagement: Ensure all members of UFFC feel included and are treated equitably, driving initiatives that enhance the overall experience of diverse groups within the Society.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership and experience in diversity and inclusion efforts.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Commitment to fostering a sense of belonging for all Society members.
- Experience in committee management and cross-functional collaboration.
