Deputy Chair of Volunteer Engagement Committee

The Volunteer Engagement Committee for UFFC-S is seeking a Deputy Chair. You would assist the Chair, particularly in moments when they are overloaded or not capable of performing Chair duties, by putting potential volunteers in touch with committee chairs, create content to make new volunteer's experience better in joining the society, working with publicity and newsletter teams to advertise for volunteers, and encourage all forms of diversity for volunteer opportunities. We welcome applications from all regions:

Region 1-6 - US
Region 7 - Canada
Region 8 - Europe, Middle East and Africa
Region 9 - Latin America
Region 10 - Asia and Pacific

The key general responsibilities are shown below:

- Attend a monthly meeting with the Volunteer Engagement Committee to review activities and to coordinate future volunteer engagement strategy for UFFC-S.
- Assist the Volunteer Engagement Committee and Chair in setting up opportunities for volunteers within existing committees, creating content to assist new volunteers in getting used to the society and help with new engagement opportunities (webinars, new symposia).
