As Publicity Chair for UFFC-S, I am seeking a Deputy Chair to support me in the next phase of the publicity drive for the society. We will work together to develop our current publicity activities across the effective advertisement of events internationally, ensuring key scientific developments and discoveries are properly promoted, and establishing new publicity related mechanisms for the benefit of our membership. I am welcoming applications from all regions:
Region 1-6 - US
Region 7 - Canada
Region 8 - Europe, Middle East and Africa
Region 9 - Latin America
Region 10 - Asia and Pacific
The key general responsibilities are shown below:
- Attend at least one monthly committee meeting for reviews of activities and to coordinate future publicity strategy for UFFC-S.
- Engage with relevant stakeholders to publicise the various activities of the UFFC-S membership, including the production of publicity materials for online platforms and for regional or international events such as conferences.
- Attend meetings with other committees as required. This can include the Web Team, Women in Engineering, and the Newsletter Team.
