UFFC-S Professional Networking and Mentoring Program: Workshop 4

On Saturday 7 August 2021, the UFFC-S Professional Networking and Mentoring Committee welcomed participants to the fourth UFFC-S mentoring workshop – the fourth in a program of five workshops and panel discussions this summer.

This workshop was hosted by Professor Zhen Xu from the University of Michigan, with 2 excellent talks given by Dr. Houston Baker (Program Director, National Institute of Health) and Dr. Ruyan Guo (Program Director, National Science Foundation). They shared guidance and advice on the application process and current funding opportunities from their institutes.
