About the election

There were more than 40 nominees in 2017 for the elected IEEE UFFC-S AdCom positions. Among those nominated, 24 agreed to run. The [uffc_email email="(Click to show email)" text="Nominations Committee"] retained 12 excellent candidates for the ballot. A total of four - one from each of the four categories (Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, Frequency Control, and Regions 8-10 which includes Europe, Latin America, Asia and Pacific regions) - are elected by UFFC-S members. In Regions 8-10, there were strong candidates from all three technical areas of UFFC-S on the ballot.
