Through the generous support of the IEEE UFFC Society, the NIST Time and Frequency Seminar is delighted to announce an opportunity for students and early-career colleagues who are new to the field of time and frequency metrology to obtain financial support to attend the NIST Time and Frequency Seminar.

This year's seminar is to be held in Boulder, CO, from 13 to 15 August 2024.

The seminar lectures will cover topics on timekeeping and time distribution, oscillator measurement definitions and concepts, time and frequency domain measurements and analysis, direct digital measurements, stability analysis, GNSS, Position Navigation and Timing (PNT), atomic clocks, network timing, and more. The agenda for this year's seminar is linked below.

Candidates must submit their resume and cover letter that explains their interest in attending the seminar and the expected benefit of their attendance by email to benjamin.walker@nist.gov by 1 July 2024. Candidates from underrepresented regions are especially encouraged to apply. Awardees must be members of IEEE and the IEEE UFFC Society, links below.

Applicants will be evaluated based on intellectual merit as well as their potential for future impact on the field of time and frequency metrology. Awardees will be notified of their selection for the program by 8 July 2024 and will be directly reimbursed for their seminar registration and travel expenses by the IEEE UFFC Society through the Concur System.
