Position Description:
We are seeking two Deputy VPs for Ultrasonics: one in the medical ultrasound area and one in the non-medical ultrasound area. The Deputy VPs for Ultrasonics will have duties which include assisting the VP for Ultrasonics with operations and strategic planning of the USSC, chairing the USSC meetings in the absence of the VP for Ultrasonics, or when a motion involving the VP for Ultrasonics is being discussed and voted upon, and representing USSC to the UFFC-S AdCom in the absence of the VP for Ultrasonics. In accordance with the UFFC-S Constitution, the Deputy VPs for Ultrasonics cannot vote by proxy in the UFFC-S AdCom, though he/she may be invited to participate in the meeting discussion.
