The IFCS Technical Program Committee (TPC) Chair is appointed by the General Chair and is responsible for the technical program of the conference. The duties of the TPC chair include:
i. appoints Group Chairs and members for the TPC;
ii. plans and chairs the TPC meetings;
iii. sets the abstract deadline for the conference and puts out calls for papers;
iv. leads the review process for the contributed abstracts;
v. works with the General Chair to invite Plenary speakers and organize plenary sessions;
vi. works with the TPC to finalize and invite Invited Speakers;
vii. works with the Tutorial Chair(s) to plan the tutorials;
viii. drafts the conference program schedule;
ix. picks session chairs and judges for the student paper competition;
x. works with the conference manager to publish the printed program;
xi. works with the Editorial Chair(s) to publish the conference proceedings.
