Monday, May 17th : WiE Event at ISAF-ISIF-PFM

How to craft a scientific career? This is the focus topic of this year’s “Women in Engineering” (WiE) event on the ISAF-ISIF-PFM conference, which takes place from May 16 to 21.  Professor Susan Trolier-McKinstry (Penn State University, United States) will give a keynote lecture sharing her experiences about "Crafting a Scientific Career from Successes and Failures". Then it will be the audience’s turn to discuss the topic with the expert panel and share insights and tips on how to develop a successful career in research. The panel members are Prof. Nava Setter (Tel Aviv University, Israel), Prof. Barbara Malič (Jožef Stefan Institute, Slovenia), Prof. Nazanin Bassiri-Gharb (Georgia Tech, United States), Prof. Elizabeth Dickey (Carnegie Mellon University, United States), Prof. Xiaohui Wang from Tsinghua University, China and Prof. Yun Liu (Australian National University, Australia).
