Dr. Peter A. Lewin, was asked by the US Secretary of Health to serve on the National Advisory Council for National Institute of Nursing Research of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This prestigious appointment recognizes Dr. Lewin as one of the globally acknowledged experts in the area of interdisciplinary and translational biomedical research. Within the UFFC Society, Dr. Peter Lewin serves as the Editor-in-Chief for the Transactions on Ultrasonics Ferroelectrics and Frequency Control where he applies his expertise to cover the journal's interrelated disciplines such as Medical Ultrasonics, Ferroelectric Materials and Transducers, Signal Processing and Frequency Control.
