The IFCS-ISAF 2020 Conference will start in less than a week with a fully online format. The attendees will use the Virtual Platform CONFLUX to access synchronous live events and asynchronous on-demand tutorials and plenaries available from 7/12 to 7/31 as well as keynote, invited, and contributed talks and posters available from 7/19 to 7/31. The audience will use the platform to engage with the speakers via asynchronous Q&A sessions.

During the original conference dates from 7/19 to 7/22, there will be a number of live events to bring all the attendees together around the world. For example, live Q&A sessions for tutorials and plenaries will take place throughout the four days. The Welcome Ceremony and IFCS Awards will be held on 7/20. The Women in Engineering (WIE) event hosted by Jody Julien on Designing Your Purpose Driven Career will take place on 7/21. A live panel discussion and Q&A on “Emerging Integrated Ferroelectrics: (Al,Sc)N and HfO2” will also take place on 7/21. Student networking events will be held on 7/20, whereas the student pitch competition, ISAF and student awards ceremony will be on 7/22. On 7/22, the Conference will conclude with a live pub-quiz style celebration of the 100th anniversary of the discovery of the phenomenon of ferroelectricity.

Registered attendees should have received the login credential for the virtual platform by email. The Virtual Conference website (where you can access the on-demand presentations and live events) is: https://2020.ifcs-isaf-virtual.org/
