The IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society (UFFC-S) is seeking nominations for its President-Elect to serve a two-year term from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2027.

Following this term, the President-Elect will become President of the society, serving a two-year term from 1 January 2028 to 31 December 2029.

The procedure to nominate (or self-nominate) is as follows:

  1. Confirm that your nominee is a UFFC-S voting member in good standing (the UFFC-S Bylaws defines this as “UFFC-S voting member”).
  2. Generate a complete nomination package, to include:
    • A letter of nomination signed by at least two AdCom Members (where a list of AdCom members can be found here)
    • An up-to-date candidate biography that includes IEEE and UFFC-S contributions
    • A position statement by the candidate
  3. Submit the complete nomination package here.

The complete application package should be received by Sunday, 1 June 2025 (11:59 PM EDT) for full consideration.

During its last regularly scheduled Administrative Committee (AdCom) meeting of 2025, the UFFC-S will elect from qualified nominees the new President-Elect using the procedure prescribed by the UFFC-S Bylaws, which you can find on the UFFC-S website here.
