2024 UFFC Publication Awards

New and long-established awards related to UFFC publications were given at the UFFC-JS in Taipei. Congratulations to all those honored for important contributions to our publications!

IEEE UFFC Outstanding Paper Award: Hoda S. Hashemi, Shahed K. Mohammed, Qi Zeng, Reza Zahiri Azar, Robert N. Rohling, and Septimiu E. Salcudean for their work on “3-D Ultrafast Shear Wave Absolute Vibro-Elastography Using a Matrix Array Transducer” in the September 2023 issue of T-UFFC.

IEEE UFFC Multidisciplinary Trailblazer Award: Gizem Tabak, Sijung Yang, Rita J. Miller, Michael L. Oelze, and Andrew C. Singer for demonstrating multidisciplinary excellence in the UFFC Society with “Video-Capable Ultrasonic Wireless Communications Through Biological Tissues” in the March 2021 issue of T-UFFC.

IEEE UFFC Test of Time Award: Kevin J. Haworth, Kenneth B. Bader, Kyle T. Rich, Christy K. Holland, and T. Douglas Mast for their seminal T-UFFC paper recognized for sustained influence and impact “Quantitative Frequency-Domain Passive Cavitation Imaging” published in January 2017.

IEEE UFFC Outstanding Reviewer Award: Alessandro Ramalli, Matthew Lowerison, and François Destrempes were recognized for offering their sustained and frequent expertise to T-UFFC through high-quality reviews. 

IEEE UFFC Editorial Excellence Award: Jianwen Luo, John A. Hossack, and Michael L. Oelze were recognized for sustained and dedicated service as IEEE T-UFFC Associate Editors.
