Sr. MEMS Process Development Engineer

A well funded start-up on the US West Coast is looking for a Senior MEMS Process Engineer with strong MEMS processing experience to work on the development and improve manufacturability for a new MEMS device. The desired engineer would work with a small team in an exciting and dynamic environment to move their MEMS technology toward a commercial product.

Responsibilities
Work to define and improve process steps for MEMS device fabrication
Work to transfer processes from research fab to commercial foundry partner
Work with external foundry partner(s) to improve process flow and speed material through fabrication process
Work with design team to implement design changes in a manufacturable process flow
Improve manufacturability of the MEMS process flow

Required Skills
MS, or PhD degree in Engineering discipline, Physics, or Material Science
3-plus years experience with MEMS fabrication processes
Strong experience in semiconductor fabrication technology
Experience in production MEMS environment desirable
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Knowledge of DOE, SPC and semiconductor fundamentals
Excellent organizational, and problem solving skills
