Don is currently the CTO of Pegasense LLC, specializing in acoustic devices, RF communications, and sensors. He is Pegasus-Professor Emeritus, Electrical and Computer Engineering Dept., University of Central Florida (UCF), Orlando. He was an MTS at Texas Instruments Corporate Research Laboratory and Motorola, and Mgr. of Advanced Product Development, Sawtek. He is an Associate Editor of the IEEE UFFC-T, UFFC AdCom Emeritus, and past-President of the UFFC Society. He is chair of IEC TC49 . He has served on the Program Committees of multiple IEEE and professional symposiums. He is the 2004 UCF Distinguished Researcher, the IEEE UFFC 2008 Distinguished Service Awardee, and received the 2000 IEEE Third Millennium Medal, He has over 300 technical publications and 15 patents.
