The Committee shall actively promote the participation of women engineers and women engineering students in UFFC-S activities and administration, and shall develop and maintain an informal network of UFFC-S members that can provide mentoring for the development of their professional careers in engineering. The Committee shall organize at least one activity at each of the three annual UFFC-S symposia every year. The Chair of the Committee shall be the liaison to IEEE Women in Engineering. The Committee shall encourage all UFFC-S members, independent of gender, who support the cause of Women in Engineering to participate in its organized activities. The Committee shall also maintain the Women in Engineering sections of the UFFC-S website and keep the website up-to-date.
