Marvin M. Doyley received the PhD degree in biophysics from the University of London, London, U.K., in 2000. From 2000 to 2001, he was with the Thorax Center, Experimental Echocardiography Department, Erasmus University, Rotterdam, the Netherlands. From 2001 to 2008, he was a Research Faculty Member with the Thayer School of Engineering, Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH, USA. In 2008, he joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, USA, where he is currently the Wilson Professor of Electronic Imaging and Department Chair (with joint appointments in the Departments of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences). His research interests include vascular elastography, elastographic imaging, harmonic imaging, and surrogate biomarkers for guiding pancreatic cancer treatment.
