Dan Stevens has been a volunteer with UFFC for more than 30 years, certainly encouraged by some pioneers in our industry, and was elected to UFFC-AdCom in 2004. His career in this field started 45+ years ago as a graduate student and then as a staff Research Associate at RPI where he developed models of quartz devices. Industry life began for him at Bell Labs in 1985, focusing on quartz crystal design and product development. The division was acquired in 1995 by Vectron International, where Dan eventually served as CTO. He retired in 2011, and has since been consulting in the industry. Dan continues to work with UFFC where he serves in various financial roles (Society Treasurer/Secretary, Conference Finance Chairs).
