Anton A. Shkel (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles, CA, USA, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, in 2018.,He is currently a Senior Wireless Systems Consultant with Facebook, working on next-generation wireless technologies for wearable devices and telecom infrastructure. His research interests include acoustic MEMS transducers, beamforming arrays, and ubiquitous and wearable sensing, and their integration with machine learning processing techniques. He was a recipient of the USC-Chevron Fellowship in 2013. He was also a Student Representative of the Administrative Committee of the IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society.
