The Virtual Coffee Exchange series has been organized by the IEEE UFFC Industrial Engagement committee. These gatherings are designed to foster connections among professionals within the ultrasound industry, graduate students, and anyone with an interest in ultrasound technology. Attendees have the opportunity to exchange their own experiences and draw insights from others. The first event took place in April 2023 and was hosted by Madeleine Hertel and Hoda Hashemi, both members of the UFFC Industrial Engagement committee. Notably, the recent guest speaker was Dr. Paul Reynolds, the founder and CTO of Acoustiic Inc., a pioneering company based in Seattle, Washington, USA, specializing in non-invasive cancer therapy through ultrasound technology. During the event, Dr. Reynolds shared valuable insights from his professional career journey and the unique challenges he faced while steering his startup. He shared excellent advice to younger individuals and elaborated on the subjects about which the audience expressed their opinions or had questions. Approximately 21 individuals from various countries joined the event which was concluded by a vibrant Q&A session. As we continue to grow this initiative, we look forward to bringing you more thought-provoking discussions and opportunities for networking. Stay tuned for updates on our next Virtual Coffee Exchange event, where we aim to foster connections and inspire innovation within the ultrasound community. Thank you for your continued support and interest in the IEEE UFFC Industrial Engagement Committee's endeavors.
