The IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging (TMI) invites nominations for the Best Paper Award, recognizing outstanding contributions published in the journal. This prestigious award honors a paper that demonstrates exceptional innovation, quality, and impact in the field of medical imaging.

Eligibility

• Papers must have been published in TMI within the last 5 calendar years (i.e., from January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2024).
• At least one author must be an IEEE member at the time of nomination.
• Self-nominations are not permitted.

Evaluation Criteria

• Technical quality and innovation
• Impact on the field of medical imaging
• Clarity of presentation
• Relevance and originality

Award Details

• The winning paper will be announced on the IEEE TMI website and in the journal.
