The IEEE-UFFC Society is supporting student participation at a series of Special Topic Schools held in Spring 2019. The three Special Topic Schools cover current and important topics in the field of Ultrasonics.  The IEEE-UFFC-S is funding a travel award for student members of the UFFC-S to attend the schools.

These Special Topic Schools are presented by experts in each topic.  The week-long schools consist of lectures and hands-on lab activities through which participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the topic.

Ultrasound Motion Imaging22 - 26 April 2019 in Lyon, France.

Waves and Transducers13-17 May, 2019 in Shenzhen, China.

Ultrasound Contrast Agents:  20 - 23 May 2019 in Boulder, Colorado, USA.

Registration is open to all, with a majority of seats reserved for student participants. Interested participants should follow the link for a specific School to register and to apply for the student travel award.  For successful award applicants, the travel award will be a partial reimbursement of the registration and travel costs.  See website for each School for further details.

The Special Topic Schools are held in three different regions across the globe (Europe, Asia, North America).  The plan is to host each School in each region over the course of three years so that everyone has the opportunity to attend the School in their home region.

Details for Special Topic Schools in Ferroelectrics and in Frequency Control will be announced shortly.
