Looking Ahead: Article Processing Charges (APCs) Will Be Phased In

To ensure the long-term sustainability of OJ-UFFC, Article Processing Charges (APCs) will be progressively introduced starting in October 2025. This aligns with IEEE’s publishing model and supports the cost of high-quality open-access publication, including peer review infrastructure, and digital archiving.
Why APCs?

OJ-UFFC is fully open access, meaning your articles are freely available to readers worldwide without subscription paywalls.

IEEE and the UFFC Society do not profit from APCs; rates are set to recover article management costs, long-term archiving and contribute to the support of broader Society programs that benefit our research community.
