The IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society (UFFC-S) is officially open for bids to host the 2027 Ultrasonics Special Topics School!
Why Host the Ultrasonics School?
The school's core mission is to educate and inspire the next generation of students and early-career researchers in our field. Past hosts consistently tell us it’s an incredibly rewarding experience. Our students always speak highly of it because it blends foundational learning with invaluable networking time among peers and established scientists.
Timeline:
Ideally scheduled between September and December 2027 (with room for flexibility if needed).
Financial Backing:
UFFC provides $20,000 USD in seed support. The remaining balance is typically covered by a mix of local sponsorships and registration fees.
How to Submit Your Bid

- Answer the Questionnaire: Fill out the questions in the attached document.
- Complete the Budget Template: Because I can only attach one file to this email, please reply directly to me to request the Budget Template spreadsheet.
