Host the 2027 IEEE Ferroschool in Europe!
Bring Ferroschool to Your Institution.
The IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society (UFFC-S) is accepting bids to host the 2027 Ferroschool, which will take place in Europe.
If you want to elevate your institution's profile, give your local students an incredible edge, and connect deeply with the global ferroelectrics community without the intense stress of hosting a massive international conference, this is your opportunity.
What is Ferroschool?
Ferroschool is a rewarding, immersive educational initiative dedicated to training the next generation of breakthroughs. The school is designed to educate students and early-career researchers on the foundational principles of ferroelectrics, while providing a relaxed, high-impact environment for networking with leading peers.
Our past student participants always speak incredibly highly of the experience; it is where lasting professional relationships and research collaborations are born.
- Host Benefits & Funding Support: Hosting Ferroschool is a prestigious but highly manageable endeavor.
Financial Backing: IEEE UFFC-S provides $20,000 USD in seed funding to help support the event. Remaining balances are traditionally covered through a combination of local sponsorships and participant registration fees. - Low Stress, High Impact: With an intimate group of 30 to 50 participants, logistics are streamlined and more accessible than at standard academic symposia.
- Global Recognition: Put your university or research center at the center of the European ferroelectric landscape.
Ideal Event Details:
- Duration: 5 days
- Timeline: Ideally scheduled between September and December 2027 (with room for flexibility if needed)
