Body

The IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society symposiums are dedicated to extending the reach of our technical conferences to Central and South America; Central, South, and Southeast Asia; Eastern Europe; and Africa. These symposiums aim to provide opportunities for professionals and students in underserved regions to engage with the latest advancements in their fields, network with international experts, and contribute to the global exchange of knowledge. By hosting these events, we strive to enhance educational and professional development, promote inclusivity, and support the growth of local scientific and engineering communities.

In 2024 UFFC supported both the IEEE Latin America Ultrasonics Symposium (LAUS) and the IEEE South America Ultrasonics Symposium (SAUS). Moving forward, we hope to expand both geographically and to our Ferroelectrics and Frequency Control Communities.

All approved Symposiums will become IEEE Technically Co-Sponsored, which includes the use of IEEE and UFFC branding and publishing proceedings in IEEE Xplore.
