UFFC is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Distinguished Lecturer (DL) in Ultrasonics. The selected lecturer will serve a one-year term from January 1st, 2026, through December 31st, 2026.
What is the UFFC-S Distinguished Lecturer Program?

  • Build strong technical networks across regions

Expectations of the DL include:

  • Coordinating with hosts to maximize reach and cost-efficiency
  • Submitting a peer-reviewed review article to IEEE Transactions on UFFC (TUFFC) based on their lectures
  • Serving as Guest Editor for a TUFFC Special Issue aligned with their topic

The DL will be supported by a travel budget of up to $25,000 USD, reimbursed through the IEEE Concur system. Hosts are encouraged to assist with accommodations or meals when possible.
