Brooks Lindsey is Assistant Professor in the Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University and director of the Ultrasonic Imaging and Instrumentation Laboratory.  He is an active member of the IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society (IEEE-UFFC) and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM). Dr. Lindsey completed postdoctoral training at the University of North Carolina and doctoral training at Duke University in biomedical engineering. His lab is currently funded by the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation for interventional imaging and for transcranial ultrasound imaging.
