Anna Knight is a current PhD Candidate in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University, studying ultrasound shear wave elasticity imaging in the Kathryn Nightingale Lab. She graduated undergraduate at Duke University in 2015 majoring in Biomedical Engineering and minoring in Chinese and Chemistry before continuing on at Duke to get her Masters in Biomedical Engineering in 2018, and is planning to finish her PhD, also in Biomedical Engineering, in 2022. Her research interests are in ultrasound elastography, particularly in structured media and transversely isotropic material characterization. She completed an internship with Siemens Healthineers Ultrasound Advanced Development Team in summer 2019. Additionally, Anna served as a Young Trustee for Duke University from 2015 to 2018.
