UFFC-S Sustainability Committee Members

In support of IEEE's corporate sustainability initiatives launched in 2023, with a primary focus on mitigating climate change, UFFC-S is proud to announce the establishment of a new Ad-Hoc committee on sustainability. We are actively seeking dedicated volunteers to join this endeavor as committee members. The committee aims to represent each technical division—Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control—as well as include student representatives. We recognize that diversity is crucial to the success of our mission. Our definition of diversity encompasses various factors, including geography, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic background, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, and ability. Initially, the committee will convene for brief meetings every two weeks to foster idea exchange and initiate new projects. As the committee evolves and clarifies its objectives, the frequency of meetings will decrease. Your participation will play a vital role in advancing sustainable practices within our organization and beyond. Join us in making a positive impact on our community and the world.
