IEEE Data Descriptions Steering Committee Member

IEEE Data Descriptions is a new TAB-sponsored peer-reviewed journal that publishes short articles on all aspects of data. Due to the joint nature of this publication, a steering committee is being formed to oversee all activities related to the administration of this publication. The current composition of the IEEE Data Descriptions Steering Committee includes members from IEEE Computer Society, IEEE Signal Processing Society, IEEE Power & Energy Society, IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society, IEEE Oceanic Engineering Society, and IEEE Computational Intelligence Society.

There will be two additional at-large members appointed by the TAB Management Committee (TMC) to the IEEE Data Descriptions Steering Committee at their 7 May 2024 meeting.

Since this is a new committee, there is a choice of a two year and a three year term to stagger member expiration.

At-Large members cannot be from IEEE Societies and Councils already represented on the Steering Committee.
